G-LAB-2B
Independent Applied Research Lab
We research #Communication and #Cooperation in
intercultural crises and conflict environments.
G-Lab-2b | Independent Applied Research Lab
The history of our human society is a history of complex conflicts, but also of cooperation. In every crisis, the possibility arises of transforming chaos into new forms of mutual understanding.
At G-LAB-2B, a Non-profit and Independent Applied Research Lab, we explore precisely these fundamental transitions, promoting innovative research such as the ECOOPx model, which identifies the keys to effective intercultural cooperation in difficult times.
Through interdisciplinary dialogues such as the “Thinking without banisters” initiative, in-depth interviews and qualitative studies, we analyze how communication and cooperation can prevent social fractures and promote sustainable coexistence. In this process, we develop diagnostic tools and resources aimed at social transformation. We share the knowledge generated through practical and contextual courses, aimed at schools, universities and businesses.
We have great faith in the power of dialogue and cooperation to transform our reality, and in our collective capacity to build a society that is more cooperative in the face of contemporary challenges.
G-LAB-2B – ECOOPx
ECOOPx is a model for intercultural cooperation that helps people, organizations and societies to respond better to crises and conflicts. Its value lies in offering a compass made up of six essential dimensions: Communication, Trust, Urgency, Organization, Shared Vision and Resonance.
Although it originated from an academic study, ECOOPx acts as a living map that is collectively explored, guiding real cooperative processes of transformation. It functions both as a social diagnostic tool and as a driver of cooperation, activating innovative and sustainable responses to present and future challenges.

Dialogue series – Thinking without banisters
The initiative Thinking Without Banisters is a dialogue series initiated by the Intercultural Communication ThinkTank G-lab-2b. These dialogues create a space for free thinking and open communication, aiming to shed light on critical topics from diverse perspectives. The dialogues seek to inspire change and a cooperation mindset to prevent destructive conflicts and mitigate crises.
Ultimately, Thinking Without Banisters should b a learning journey for everyone involved, both speakers and listeners, where diverse viewpoints try to cooperate and explore potential solutions to develop a sustainable vision.
G-LAB-2B – Education
At G-LAB-2B we offer practical and contextual training, based on our applied research on intercultural cooperation in contexts of crisis and conflict. Our training proposals are aimed at schools, universities, social organizations and companies, and are adapted to each environment.
The courses combine theory and practice, using tools such as the ECOOPx model, real case studies, simulations and participatory exercises. We address topics such as communication in complex environments, social diagnosis, intercultural management and cooperative transformation strategies.
Our goal is to equip individuals and teams with concrete skills to prevent social fractures, strengthen mutual understanding and activate sustainable processes of change.
